Celebration of Life has been scheduled for Bobbie Marie Wilson Sunday, January 3, 2021 at the Vicksburg City Auditorium at 10:00 AM.
Bobbie will lie in repose at the auditorium from 1 PM until the hour of service. Visitation will be Saturday, January 2, 2021 at C J Williams Mortuary Services from 1-6 PM with family present from 5-6 PM.
Bobbie was born in Vicksburg, MS on August 7, 1971 to Bobby Wilson Sr and Mable Miller of Vicksburg, MS. Bobbie accepted Christ at Mt.Carmel Ministries under the direction of Pastor Mitchell Dent and she spent most of her life as a cook.
Bobbie loved her family, she loved to smile, joke and most of all dance. Bobbie transitioned at her home in the arm's of her son. She was preceded in death by her father Bobby wilson Sr, her paternal grandparents, Rose Lee clark, great grandmother, Mary Wilson. Maternal grandparents, Walter Lee Scott, Katie Mae and Theodore Cookesy. Great grandmother, Helen Caldwell and her beloved aunt, Ethel Mae Jones.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her affectionately devoted love of 21 years, Wayne Allen, of Vicksburg, MS, her mother, Mable Lee Miller, of Vicksburg, four daughters, Natasha Horton, Dallas, TX, Theresa (Orlando) Kimple, Bolton, MS, Shavae Wilson and Trivonda Wilson both of Vicksburg, MS, four sons, Shawnderrick Wilson, Destin Florida, Rashard Allen, Rayshun Allen and Ravon Allen all of Vicksburg, her five beloved grandchildren, Jameer, Olivia, Orlando Jr, Tyler and Crystianna, two sisters, Temika (Cedric) Wesley, Dallas, TX, Tiffany Monroe, Pensacola Florida, one brother, Bobby Wilson Jr, of Mississippi, her beloved nieces, Jasmine, Jameka, Jaquita and Kretonia, nephews, Jackie, Johnathan, Jamale, Malik and a host of other relatives and friends including the Caldwell, Stevenson, Wilson, Jones, and Freeman families, her longtime high school friends, Bridgette, Sharmeen and Theresa. Bobbie Marie Wilson transitioned December 28, 2020 at Merit Health River Region at age of 49.

A'Treio Markis Richards transitioned Friday, November 6, 2020 in Vicksburg at the age of 19.

Graveside Service has been scheduled for Rapper Rico Johnson Kelly Jr, Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Chapel Hill Church Cemetery 5131 N. Chapel Hill Road, Edwards, MS at 11:00 AM under the direction of Joseph Buckner.
Visitation will be Friday, November 20, 2020 at Willis and Sons 5235 Robinson Rd, Jackson, MS from 1-6 PM with family present.
Rico transitioned November 1, 2020 in Jackson, MS at the age of 20. Services are being provided by C J Williams Mortuary Services 4310 Halls Ferry Road in Vicksburg.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 22, 2020 from 1-7 PM with family present from 6-7 PM at C J Williams Mortuary Services.
Eva was a high school graduate of Cooper High School and she furthered her education at Hinds Community College where she received her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. Because of her love for children, she became gainfully employed by the Mississippi Action for Progress as an educator for over 35 years.
She was preceded in death by loving husband of 57 years Sandy Carter Jr, her parents Willie (Dorothy) Washington, and Georgia (Early) Simpson, two sons, Michael Durman and Sandy Carter III, one daughter Mary Elizabeth Carter. She leaves to mourn her transitioning, four daughters, Pamela Carter Brown (Shelby) of Mesquite TX, Barbara Carter, Cathy Demby both of Vicksburg and Diane Renee Carter of Lewisville, TX, one daughter-in-law, Lavinia Durman, Dallas, TX, one brother, Eugene (Georgia) Durman, Vicksburg, MS, 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.

LaKiesha Renae Smothers Evans was born in Vicksburg, MS to Robert Smothers Sr. and the late Inez Green. LaKiesha was a faithful member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Natchez, MS and through her gift of singing, her and her family started the choir of New Hope Baptist Church. Not only did she have a love for GOD but she also had a love for sports and her love inspired both of her sons to become great athletes. LaKiesha served as Booster Club President for the WCHS Boys Basketball team and other roles with the WCJH School organizations. She leaves to mourn her transitioning, her loving husband, Bobby Evans Jr, a daughter, Danielle Smothers, three sons, Daniel Smothers, Darius Smothers, Qindarius Ellis, her father, Robert Smothers Sr, her stepmother, Christine Smothers, her stepfather, Joe Carter, two sisters, LaTonya Smothers (Tommie) Bell, Chandra Vaughn, three bonus sisters, Lasondra Turner Anderson, April Smith, Catina Moffett Smothers, six brothers, Robert Smothers Jr., Calvin (Quiarra) Smothers, Dominique Smothers, Steven Carter, Gerald Vaughn, Arnold Carter, a host of other family members and friends. April 25, 1935 – April 11, 2020
Gladys Marshall Williams, age 84, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2020 in Vicksburg, MS with her son by her side. She was born in Edwards, MS on April 25, 1935 to Alice and Walter Marshall. Gladys is survived by her son Estes Dewayne Williams (Houston, TX), grandchildren, Justin Dewayne Williams (Houston, TX) and Eva Williams Johnson (Matthew) (Loma Linda, CA), her sister Alma Jean Banks (Edwards, MS) and a host of other family and friends. Gladys was preceded in rest by her husband of 33 years, Estes Williams, Jr.
Gladys attended Jarvis Christian College graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1957. She earned her masters degree in education at Jackson State University. Gladys and Estes were married in Rolling Fork, Mississippi, in 1960.
Gladys worked as a teacher in Mississippi for over 30 years. Twenty-five years were dedicated to the Vicksburg-Warren County School System. Gladys life of service was evident in her love for Jesus Christ, her family and church. She was a member of the Morning Star Seventh-day Adventist Church, Vicksburg, MS. You could regularly find her at the Salvation Army preparing and serving lunch on the second and fourth Monday of the month.
Mortuary Services has been entrusted to CJ Williams Mortuary Services. Public viewing is scheduled for April 24 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A private family graveside committal ceremony will be at 2:00 PM Saturday April 25, 2020 at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Vicksburg. A public memorial service will be announced for a future date.
